Video detailing the creation of the shadow net and the interaction with the people of Samar.
Samar is an anarchist kibbutz known for its liberated ethos and animistic philosophy. Their income comes primarily from date plantations. All the agricultural machines are built and designed by the members of the kibbutz. The machines are then given names symbolizing the special connection created between the members, the machines and the land. A shade net made of agricultural patches was designed in the spirit of Samar, which enhances the local folklore.
